V&A Waterfront

The world-famous Cape Town Waterfront, incorporating the historic Victoria and Alfred Basins, is still used by smaller commercial vessels including fishing and pleasure boats. Scores of luxury vessels visit the cruise terminal during the summer season.

Table Mountain

The impressive 1 000 metre high Table Mountain, with its distinctive flat plateau, has been declared one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World. It never fails to attract visitors from around the globe to use its cable car to reach the top or hike up a trail. It’s also famous for rock climbing and its indigenous plant life.

Cape of Good Hope

The Cape Peninsula incorporates the most stunning scenery, including the views to be enjoyed from Chapman’s Peak Drive,  named after a ship’s pilot. The surface of this cleverly planned road is based on solid 630 million-year-old Cape Granite.

Cape Winelands

Splendid mountains, lush vineyards and gabled Cape Dutch homesteads steeped in history are to be found in the Cape Winelands.  The world-class wines nurtured in the cellars of this region await your tasting appreciation, delight and enjoyment.

Constantia Valley

The most historical wine-making region in the southern hemisphere, the Constantia Valley, boasts both heritage and landscapes of unsurpassed beauty. Award-winning wine estates, restaurants and outdoor experiences abound in the area.

Marine Environment

The popular retirement town of Hermanus has a 14 kilometre long cliff path with a reputation for the best land-based whale watching in the world.  Here the Southern Right Whale breeds and calves during the southern hemisphere winter and spring.

I fell in love with “The Tavern of the Seas” in 1959 when I first visited Cape Town as a young boy.  While my father was hard at work during the day, I explored the city at leisure. Roaming through the Company’s Gardens and down Adderley Street, I reached Table Bay with its bustling harbour. I spent hours there, captivated by the activity around visiting ships.

These days, after many years in the advertising and marketing arena, I am able to indulge in my passion. That is to share the Cape’s countless magic attractions with visitors from other countries and elsewhere in South Africa.

In 2019, I qualified as a Cultural Tourist Guide and also have a Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).  I am also fortunate to have an abundance of personal travel experience, internationally and within South Africa. This helps me to ensure that my clients’ expectations are always exceeded.

My previous tourism experience lies with:

  • Jolly Fine Private Tours – tour design and tourist guiding
  • Akorn Destination Management – cruise ship logistics.

We are both active members of the Cape Tourist Guides Association (CTGA) and look forward to being of service to you soon.

what our all cape private tours clients have to say

I would like to thank you once more for having taken such good care of us. We have thoroughly enjoyed our holidays in South Africa. What a beautiful country. Hope to see you again maybe in the not too distant future. MAUD VAN REENEN

Been touting your services and the great time I had with you. I told my travel agent that any group or small party going to Cape Town she should get them hooked up with you direct. STANLEY GLAWE

I recently had two UK visitors who wished to see the best of the Cape. Adrian prepared an exceptional itinerary, enabling my friends to enjoy a Cape Town Peninsula tour as well as a Winelands visit. Adrian was a knowledgeable and charming" host" with his friendly, easy but professional manner. He went out of his way to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. The two days spent in his company were a highlight for us, and my friends commented specifically that their experience of the Cape was greatly enhanced by having Adrian as our driver-guide. CAROL OPIE

Our tour guide Ian Stewart was with us for 2 days in Cape Town and 1 day in the winelands and we had such a great time with him. He was wonderful and he even took us to an artist's studio in Cape Town that was a family friend because I told him I was interested in art. We were thrilled to have had that special access beyond what was required of him. LAUREN GULOTTA

For a most wonderful non-stop three days ... thanks to you, Ian, I saw all the sights! A trip I will always fondly remember. LESLEY FAIN

We enjoyed a fantastic private tour given by Adrian Fuller to Cape Point National Park and Boulders Beach. He made it very interesting and has a wealth of knowledge about the area. I can highly recommend his services. AMANDA VAN DER POL

In all our travels we have never had a better guide. Ian was gracious, knowledgeable and accommodating. We couldn't have had a better experience. We recommend him highly. GAIL JONES

We had a wonderful day with our well informed, knowledgeable guide, Adrian. He shared many interesting facts with us and took us to several picturesque areas. We all had a fantastic time. We recommend him to anyone wishing to visit the Cape Town area. DIANE SHAW

Adrian has a wealth of impressive local knowledge which he imparts in a casual and personable manner. He added much to our visit to Cape Town. ROGER BUCKLEY
